4 bits of news

So item number 1 is the unveiling of a new stockist, HannahZakari which I was more than a little chuffed about as I've admired this online boutique for a long time and love their quirky slant on the whole gift buying saga so hurrah! And everything is in good old British pound sterling :D double hurrah!


Item number 2 is also the news of a new stockist in the shape of Almondtreeframes which is a gift shop cum frame making retail space in Australia ! It is a fairly new shop and I've been following their shop renovations and spying on all the other designers on offer on their blog here and if you go back a little you can see more photos of their lovely shop!

So news number 3 is we fostered a dachshund about a week ago now but been too busy to show and tell about him, hes a very sweet dog and I know it won't be long until he is adopted which makes me miss him already :(
Can anyone guess what his name is?! His name is....wait for it.......SAUSAGE!
I can tell you now its more than a little embarrassing to shout it out in public, especially when people can't actually see him and they just think I'm incredibly hungry or/and crazy.
I have a really funny video of him which I will upload as soon as I find the camera lead!

So far I've unintentionally announced my bits of news chronologically with my latest news being that I moved and I'm so so happy right now!
We've moved to another part of Hong Kong altogether and its less busy here and we're near the sea like 10 mins walk to the beach and its just pretty here, so far I love it and feel fancy in our lovely new flat and and and and one of the best things about this flat is that I will have a much bigger studio.

Moving phase 2

A touch better but this is after lots of selling & giving & charity shopping & any eagle eyed female will probably notice there is no wardrobe so I'm cheating as all of my clothes are in *cough*.... another room. 

I like living at home, apart from the excessive 'can we play now' from 7 year olds, it's pretty cosy. niice

oooh we have booked our tickets, We are flying 2nd March & not returning at all till 9 months later which makes me feel homesick. not niice. Whether the 9 months will be final or just a visit is yet to decided!

This is what happens when you try to cram 2 rooms/2 peoples/5 years worth of stuff into 1 room....beautiful is not the word....sexy maybe

The move

Littleclouds is moving.......to Hong Kong!

WHY?! - more a question of why not! a opportunity presented itself & we couldn't think of what was holding us back & as life is about experiences & all that & if now being young with no hardcore commitments isn't the time to make that jump then we never will but that is not to say that there will be no tears, I already miss my life here in London :( 

WHEN?! - Around end of February/early March, for how long for we're not sure but I'm thinking 1-2 years really.

WHERE!? - I will be moving to the New territories, in a former old market town called 'Tai Po'. Tai po holds some fond memories for me as I lived there for a year when I was 6 & although it is quite residential & considered to be a bit 'out in the sticks' by central hong kongers, to me it's the halfway point of busy city VS quiet village life. It also helps that it's surrounded by water & mountains :P 

WHAT!? - will I be doing? well it's good that you ask ;) We've luckily managed to find a job to help pay the necessities which is potentially mobile so hopefully we should be able to travel around a bit in South East Asia every now & again. My only aim & I'm totally serious when I say this is to travel to Sichuan, N.China to visit the panda Sanctuary ! 

There isn't any big sensible plan to what we will do there, just enjoy ourselves really, take time out, learn more skills, read more, listen more, explore & discover more! 

AND LITTLECLOUDS?! - Well if anything I will be spending more time on Littleclouds, I've already sourced materials & supplies that are more local to Hong Kong & something I'm so so excited about is that I will have a much bigger studio space & I've already got loads of ideas brewing waiting to materialise all of which should make 2009 an exciting time! 

Because the next 2 months, I'll be in this transition period of moving home to moving abroad, it is going to be hard to maintain stock levels, therefore I am temporary closing the shopping facility on my website but leaving my Etsy & Dawanda active so that what I have left is easier to manage now that production will have to slooow down. phew! writing that was a mission for me, having it all out in virtual black & white hits home that I am leaving home :(
